2 Feb 2019 - Rain, Trip Planning, Laundry

Warm day with rain which brought the fog.  Was yucky all day.  We figured it would be a waste of time to go out driving around when we would not be able to see much, so we stayed put. 

Out friends we met from Idaho pull up stakes and left today as her allergies were getting the best of her.  We are disappointed since we had a lot in common and enjoyed talking with them.

We worked on our next trip a bit.  We have most reservations nailed down through Washington DC, but nothing after that. 

 We started researching sites on down the east coast, but it is difficult to work any reservations when it is a weekend and many offices are closed, so we will continue the preliminary planning and will make phone calls on Monday.

When the rain let up the fog hung in there but we figured we better get a dog walk in before the rain started up again.  The bay was dead calm, quite a difference from earlier in the week.

I drove Doreen up to the laundry facility and she did three loads of laundry.  Only three of the four washers and three of the four dryers were working, and there were others there doing their laundry also, so it was a lengthy process.  

Tomorrow (Sunday) is supposed to be foggy and cloudy like it was today, hopefully less rain.  We will likely head out for a drive anyway.  It is what it is!
