Not much to report today, and not many pictures.
This morning I had an appointment at the local RAM dealership to get the oil changed, a recall completed, the front and rear differentials serviced and possibly troubleshooting my elusive right rear squealing noise. When I called the dealership a couple weeks ago, I was surprised they were taking service appointments for Saturdays. They apparently split their service staff between weekends to provide great customer service to their clients! Wow, what a novel concept!
My appointment was for 0830 hrs and I was greeted by some friendly folks at Planet Chrysler Dodge RAM Fiat here in Flagstaff. The Service Manager was very helpful and was expecting me. They completed the oil change and the recall, and I asked them to also complete the scheduled maintenance on the front and rear differentials (four wheel drive), but as I explained how intermittent the squealing noise is, we decided to keep monitoring it for a while. On the way back to the RV Park I fueled up the RAM. I like the prices here in Arizona! Beats the heck out of the $4/gal diesel in California.
While I was at the dealership Doreen did a small load of laundry as we prepare to depart in the morning for Albuquerque. We will be there for two nights and then move on to Amarillo.
We got back to the RV, washed the bugs off the front cap, dumped all three waste tanks and stowed the hose and support rack. By that time my back had taken all it could take so we watched the Chicago Cubs beat the Milwaukee Brewers and had a local pizza for supper.
Next report, Albuquerque NM!
